Wither This Land In the early part of the 2000s, the British nation was divided over whether hunting should be banned or not. In Wither This Land, several characters' lives are followed as they get increasingly caught up with an anger brewing in the countryside - animal rights activists, philosophical agitators, students, hunters all come together in what readers called a fast paced 'rip roaring' novel that lampoons extremism.
